Liebster Blog Award

Salvaged Spaces won the Liebster Blog award! Yes, ladies and gents - we are officially award-winning! But why did we win this and, more importantly, how?!

The Liebster Blog award is awarded to up-and-coming blogs that have simply impressed at least one person. Hah! Sort of. It's an award for newbs and it only takes one awesome reader to recognize you. That awesome reader for us was insideways. Her real name is Jen and she referred to us as DIY porn. *blushes* We do love DIY!

Anyway.

When you win the award, there are a few rules to follow:
1.) Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog. Thank you, insideways!
2.) Link back to the blogger who presented the award to you.
3.) Copy and paste the blog award on your blog.
4.) Present the Liebster Blog Award to 5 blogs of 200 followers or less who you feel deserves it.

I have a hard time finding out how many followers people have, so I may be giving this award to some people who have way more than 200 followers. I tried to pick people who have less than 200 followers displayed on their page - but more importantly, bloggers who have an awesome blog and have taken the time to talk to me. A simple hello or response means the world to me! So... here are my 5 blogs (in no specific order):

Janine posts a lot of projects that involve repurposing (my favorite!). She's been featured on a few other websites (I found out about her on Apartment Therapy) so she probably has lots of followers, but I love her blog because of the content and the fact that she was one of our first stranger comments.

I love the design of this blog! It's so clean and inviting, and full of great posts and projects! In fact, I have a lot that I still need to read as I've only touched the surface.

Cassie of Sassy Cass Jems redesigns vintage jewelry and it's all absolutely beautiful! I'm a big fan!

While this blog has nothing to do with DIY and repurposing, I still follow it on a regular basis. Valerie always posts inspiring and thought-provoking content related to leadership and the workplace.

I originally found Weathered Treasure through Junk Market Style. She posts about repurposing and her projects are so detailed! She also tries to do things on a budget... which I always appreciate. :)

5.) Let them know they have been chosen by leaving a comment on their blog.

Love,

Leslie
