Dade City's Spring Antique Faire

Today is my birthday, I am 27 years old. I went to an antique fair, for my 27th birthday. It was a good birthday.

Dade City held its Spring Antique Faire today. Dade City is about 30 minutes away from us, so we didn't have to wake up too early to get over to it before all the good stuff was gone. Leslie and I were on the hunt for two things: an old chair for the desk we picked up last weekend, and some old, cheap crates to build a storage space. We found neither, but we did see a lot of cool stuff. This looks like an old bingo set, and since it's complete, they were asking a ton for it, but pictures were free at least.

We ended up getting a few pieces. The bookshelf is for Lucy. We have a bookshelf for her already, but it's wide and short, whereas this one is a lot taller and won't take up as much floor space. There are some neat little arches cut out in the sides of the top shelf, and we're not really sure what we're going to do with it yet, but expect some kind of transformation in the coming weeks. The desk is for me, because Leslie is re-appropriating the one she got me last week for her office. I think this one is a little more my style, anyway; mainly because it won't get mistaken for a vanity. The chandelier was five bucks and is totally broken, but we have a sweet idea for it and will be DIYing it soon.
